Pipistrelle Barn

New for Summer 2025, Pipistrelle Barn is a brand-new holiday home tucked away in peaceful woodland at the highest point of the Coulscott Estate. It’s our most secluded property yet — designed to offer space, comfort, and a proper escape into nature.

Surrounded by trees and with far-reaching views down the valley, Pipistrelle feels a world away — yet it’s just a short walk from Coulscott’s indoor swimming pool, games room, honesty shop, and outdoor play areas. It’s the best of both worlds: total privacy, with everything you need close at hand.

Inside, you’ll find a light-filled, open-plan living space with big windows, comfy seating, and a well-equipped kitchen — ideal for lazy breakfasts, shared meals and time spent together. There are three bedrooms: a main bedroom with en-suite shower room, a flexible king/twin room, and a twin bunk bedroom, along with a family bathroom and handy utility room. Both bathrooms feature luxury rainforest showers, adding a little extra indulgence to your stay. Everything’s been thoughtfully laid out and the barn is fully accessible too.

Outside, wraparound decking invites you to sit back and take it all in — whether that’s a morning coffee on the terrace or a soak in your own private hot tub, with nothing but birdsong and valley views for company.

You’ll also have full access to Coulscott’s 20 acres of grounds — from meadows and streams to woodland trails, friendly animals, and safe places for children to roam and play. And if you fancy a day at the beach, the stunning North Devon coast is just a short drive away, with sandy beaches, clifftop walks, and seaside towns to explore.

Pipistrelle Barn is dog-friendly, so your four-legged friend is very welcome, and there’s EV charging on site too.
